The Brief
A customer with a passion for producing the perfect eggs... grown in beautiful local woodland these exotic and delicious eggs needed a name and a look that properly demonstrated the love and attention that went into creating them. The egg market, however, place is crowded and high-end egg brands are entering all the time. The customer has big ambitions, stocking in the likes of Selfridges and top deli's around the UK.
The Result
We undertook a naming convention and hit on a name that epitomised these eggs and their surroundings... The Well-Bred Egg - everything fit - the passion of the owners, the beautifully cared for woodlands in which the hens live and play, and the hens that lay them are undoubtedly well bred and what's more the eggs go well with bread! The logo plays on the colours of the eggs and cleverly plays with the yoke and the white. The collateral tells the story of the eggs (which the Speed copywriters wrote) in a riveting and beautifully presented concertina leaflet... great to read while eating your boiled eggs! The eggs are already being stocked at numerous delis around the country; watch this space regarding the high end stores!
